Walking into a little oasis within the center. A little well treated garden on Windroosplein. The statue in front of the entrance says:
Ter Herdenking van de medewerkers van de waarheid die gevallen zijn in de strijd tegen het facisme 1920-1945
(short translation: In memory of the employees of the Truth who fell in the battle against facism 1940-1945.
I like to see these and here they are seldom done or maintained anymore. The last one I saw was at the famous Biltmore House in North Carolina.
